From darkness to light

Sitting here this morning i've been thinking, reminiscing, over everything that has happened since ive been here. My mind is completely blown that i only have 8 months left here in this beautiful country. My eyes have seen so much and my heart felt so many different emotions. A lot of the emotions made me want to pack my bags and go home. But Father always pounded on my heart with His words, "there is a reason, you can't see now but keep trusting. I am faithful." Everyday I have this as my constant reminder to keep going. So many days have been hard, its lonely, especially this time of year when there's no school and no students. Father is my constant strength each day.

Father has done some incredible things since I've been here. He's brought some amazing young girls into my life who were broken and living in complete darkness but now have found light. Some days it's challenging to answer the questions they come up with, i rely fully on Father to guide my mouth and speak the words out of me. The one who breathed life into me is breathing it out of me and into my sweet friends giving them this same beautiful life.

Marina is a sister. I began hanging out with her after meeting her at a local HC here. We started meeting after class having lunch and talking. She had lots of questions about boys and relationships. She is desperate and wants to find the right guy. Hahaha don't all girls. We looked into the Word and helped her to find out to be patient and trust inFather that He would give her he disires of her heart. For now while waiting she can sere Father and remain obedient to Him. She is growing so much in walk and is sharing her love of Father with others on campus.
(Pic below, Marina is on the right black and red dress)

Alice is a new sister I met last May while some volunteers were here. She became a sister while that group was here and i continued to meet with her. We meet every Friday night and study the Word together. She has so many questions. Each week she comes to my home and has read chapers and the word and has pages of questions about what certain things from the book means. Together we seek more and pr@y together for Father to reveal the meaning to her. Soon she will be partaking in getting "washed!!"
(Below Alice is on the left in black.)

Jennifer i recently met. She attends English corner that i teach each week and is a very close friend of Marina's, who i talked about above. She has been hearing about Father from Marina and myself. Recently while a volunteer group was here she was able to hear so much more than she had heard before. She came to my home with two other, marina and a girl from the volunteer grop and we wathced a film about Father. After watching we asked questions and she said, "i see that living a life following this Father seems like a much better way to live. It seems like a happoer life." Se went on talking about how Marina has been a big influence on her. That made me so happy to hear! She is still seeking and is not ready to make a decision. Please join me in pr@ying for Jennifer that she will fully trust in Father and give her heart to Him.

I am not looking forward to these months going by fast, i want it to be slow. This place has become home to me and I look forward to the many blessing that will come in these next few months. We have 2 more volunteer groups coming soon. One in March and another in June. One group from my University in Mississippi and the other my old student leader back in Florida. It does my heart some good having these groups come in and does it even more good when they are close friends of mine. Please pr@y as they prepare to come.

I leave you with this quote that i read when i first felt Father telling me to "Go!"

"God uses people. God uses people to perform His work. He does not send angels. Angels weep over it, but God does not use angels to accomplish His purposes. He uses burdened broken-hearted weeping men and women". – David Wilkerson

Locked Out!

Monday night I was hanging up Christmas lights around my apartment while jamming to some sweet Christmas tunes. I decided "Oh my lanta, I'm going to hang some outside my door!!!" As I was standing on a stool hanging the lights around part of the door frame tragedy struck, DUHN DUHN DUUUUUHHHHNNNN!! My door slammed shut. Now normally this wouldn't be an issue because some friends here have a spare key, but I did not have my cell phone. Then I though I could just go to their house and get it, realizing I was wearing house slippers and my and one layer of clothing this would not be a good idea. The temperature outside was way too cold for what I was wearing. I then began to panic and then process my options. I knocked on my neighbors door but there was no answer. I walked down the stairs to the family who lives below. "Yaaaay they answered," I thought. So I began to try and explain what happened and when I started to hear crickets I began to act out what happened. In my head I was praying that they would understand me and be able to help. Their son then came to the door who is a senior in high school and spoke a little english. So they made some phone calls and invited me in to wait. During my wait I played some video games with their son, which turned out to be  fun. They laughed at me and the situation I was in but I didn't care, it was pretty funny and I was just very thankful that they were able to help. The locksmith arrived and was able to get my door opened!!!!! Now anytime I step outside my door I take my key. They will be getting a loaf of banana bread this week :)

"You're not American... Your English is bad"

Funny little story. A few weeks ago while getting into a taxi the driver began to ask me the question that is always get, "are you Russian?" I said no I'm American. I was blown away by His response, "no you're not America, your English is bad." I was blown away because of the fact that I wasn't speaking English. I just gave him a look like really, are you kidding me. I don't even know. I got a good laugh out of it when ingot out of the taxi.

A little trip

Last week I went to Taiwan for some meetings and a few days of vacation. I was deeply encouraged in so many ways which challenged me to push harder in language learning and in my walk with Father. While there I got to experience a lot of things that I miss a lot. One of these being eating American food!!! After our first day we went to the second tallest building in the world, the Taipei 101 and then headed to Chilli's!!! I was so excited to have the taste of those dang good southwestern egg rolls,my stomach was satisfied after leaving. I spent each day from 8-5 in meetings and then went out after with everyone. We did everything from movies to food to night markets to food and food, food, food. Did I mention Mexican food, because ya that happened! My most favorite part was spending time with friends who I hadn't seen since last summer. We shared so many stories and had a lot of good laughs which did a lot for my soul. After the week ended I stayed with a few friends for some action days where we relaxed at the beach and did some shopping and just hung out watching movies. I was so thankful for the time I got to spend with my friends. On Sunday we went to a gathering and I was hit with so many emotions. My heart was so overwhelmed to be a part of service with the locals worshipping in their native tongue. I couldn't stop crying thinking how I wished it could be like this where I am. I hadn't been to a service like this in a year and to see and here how the Sp-rit was moving was a beautiful thing. My hearts cry is to see the people of my area be moved by Father and to fall on their knees before the one who is greater. All I could think of was "my heart is overwhelmed" by Hillsong "Your love has set The broken captives free Your love released The chains once binding me I'm found in grace In love's embrace My heart is overwhelmed I stand redeemed Your spirit now alive withing my heart I walk with you all of my days I shall live to glorify you G-d Hear my soul rejoice." I cry out that the people know of His love that will set them free.

CB WHAT CB WHAT!! CBU

Recently we had a team come to our city for three weeks. There were nine of them who came all the way from California to teach english at the University. I cannot express how thankful I felt to have them come, not only was it a blessing to me but to a lot of the students they came in contact with. They had a loaded schedule set before them and they worked extremely hard to be the hands and feet that Father called them to be. I had the opportunity to hang out a lot with them and meet a lot of the students that they met. They were able to meet about twenty seven students and spend a lot of time with them getting to know them and sharing the love of Father. Some of the students were very receptive and wanted to know more. Two students came to trust in Him during their time here and one other after they left. During the three weeks after they headed back home I had the opportunity to meet up with about half of these students and get to know them a bit more. One friend in particular who came to trust Father after the group left was RM. i met her while the team was here and after they left contacted her to meet again. She was very different from the first time I met her. A few of the girls from the team left RM with a DVD which she watched on her own and after watching chose to grab ahold of the "fishing pole" and cling to it for dear life. When I met with her there was a difference in her. She was extremely happy and ran to me and hugged me, (which is something that they don't usually do here.) we went to a coffee shop in the library and she began to tell me of what happened while watching the film. I got to talk to her a lot about what she experienced and she immediately shared of how she wants to share this with her friend and family who don't know. I was so excited for her and so thankful the Father moved in her heart. We will begin studying together when she returns for the new school year!! Father is the ultimate Author of our lives and I'm so thankful that He moves in mysterious ways. I'm thankful that I can serve Him and be a part of His journey. Instill have many more students to meet with and continue sharing this great love with. Thank you CBU for your hard work! "What then is Apollos? What is Paul?servants through whome you believed, as the L-rd assigned to each. I planted, apollos watered, but it was G-d that gave the growth.so neither he who plants or he who waters is anything, but only G-d who gives the growth.he who plants and he who waters are one,and each will receive his wages according to his labor.for we are G-ds fellow workers. You are G-ds field, G-d is building." 1 Cor. 3:5-9

Been A While: Random Happenings

I have been really horrible at keeping up to date with how life is going here. Lots of things have been going on the last few months. I started school and it has been going pretty good. Most days I'm completely lost and confused but I'm getting through it. At first it was real embarrassing when I would get called on and have no clue how to answer but that feeling has faded and I press on through those moments. Today in class we finished one of our books and I had a test where I had to meet my teacher 1-on-1 and she asked questions and I had to answer. I did fairly well only missing 3 questions. Getting around town has definitely been really easy and I can do just about anything by myself now without the help of others. Recently I got a bike from a friend here who just had a baby and can't ride for now. Riding it for the first time along the river was so freeing. I can't tell you how much I miss driving and this is the closest I have come to it and it was the greatest feeling ever and surviving the roads was a big accomplishment 8^). A  little over a month I had to take a 3 hour trip to see a dentist for a tooth ache and wound up having to get 2 teeth pulled which were baby teeth and under one had an infection which was causing my pain. It took me about a week to fully recover because the infection got pretty bad. I recently went back and had to have braces put on my teeth which I'll have to wear for a year. It's almost been a week and I'm still getting used to them. Trying to eat has been a task. Well that is about all the new things going on. My life for the time being is wrapped around language study and will be the case for a while. The weather is getting so much warmer and everything is starting to blossom which I'm loving.

I am about to hit the 7 month mark. I can't believe it has already been half a year since I arrived. Time is flying by fast. I have had my ups and downs and it has been incredible seeing how Father has pulled me through and revived my spirit. I am excited to see what Father is going to do through this next month and the many more that are to come. I have 2 friends I've been meeting with, I'll call them J&J, and we've been going through T4T which is teaching them about how to walk with Father. We just went through pr@yer and they learned what it looks like and what the Book says about it. They have prepared a topic that they want to talk to me about so keep this in your thoughts as I meet with them sometime next week. It is amazing seeing how they are growing and reading the Book. Well that is about it for now, I am going to try and do better at posting more, I know I know, I say this all the time.

Blessing to y'all

Hardships that come and go.

I know I know, it has been an extremely long time since I last wrote on here and I apologize for my laziness. Most of you received my monthly update through email so I will steer clear from writing about what you already know. I am going to be completely honest wit you and say that I have been having a hard time in this last month or so. My heart has just been overtaken by missing the comforts of home. Students are gone and have been since the end of December and my mind has been processing so many things like missing family and friends and missing the comfort of being home and my everyday life back in the states. Don't get me wrong, I know I am where I'm supposed to be and am so thankful for that and for Father. I'm not trying to complain or anything but just want to get how I really feel out. I miss seeing my friends everyday and making funny videos with them, I miss the feeling if sitting on campus on Thursdays after dinner and feeling the air around me as I sit outside as the sun is going down. I miss the sound of a lawnmower (yes a lawnmower) and the smell of fresh cut grass. I miss hanging out with my family and most of all I miss driving. That feeling of driving for 10 hours with my music blaring and my windows down. I have recently found out that these feelings I'm having are normal. For so long I didn't want to say anything because I thought I was being selfish in some way but I know that I am not. Some nights I don't sleep very well because I have been having so many horrible nightmares that I feel completely exhausted the next day and all I want to do is sleep. Father definitely has reminded me of his steadfast love and protection over me while I sleep. These thoughts will not keep me down but push me to going forward. Father has a huge task that is at work here and that is what drives me and keeps me going. Life will be better once my friends return for the 2nd term here in a few weeks. A verse that has helped me is from 2 Cor. 12:9-10 "But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Ch-ist's power may rest on me. That is why for Christ's sake I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak then I am strong." My heart will gladly rejoice in my Father in all of my days.

Tis the season!!! What's that you ate?

So it is almost Christmas time and I'm excited to welcome some friends coming from America!! They will be here in a week and will stay for about two weeks. I'm pumped for them to come and join in on the work here. The week of Christmas I will be hosting three Christmas parties so be lifting up those who will come and here The Story and conversations that will happen.

So this past week I took part in eating something that I swore I'd never do. (Dog lovers you may want to skip this paragraph 8^)) I went out to eat with some friends on Tuesday night to a Korean BBQ place and my friends ordered our meal. We had beef, pork and tofu cooking on our small grill and another dish that was placed in front of me. This dish had meat, egg, rice and other vegetables in it. As I began to mix it all together and take a bite my friend said this is dog meat, yes that's what I typed, dog meat. All I could think about was my previous pet dogs, but I continued to eat. I don't think I will be eating this kind of dish anymore, hopefully.

Language study is continuing to go well. I finished week 3 today and am still not talking. It's great!! I am improving a lot in my listening skills and my tutor is absolutely amazing. I have never felt so encouraged by someone before. When I can't seem to point to where the word is that she is saying she tells me "I wont tell you but I think you can get it." And when I do get it she tells me "very good, so smart." This helps a lot with not getting frustrated and keeps me motivated.

Today I went on a little adventure to a park here in my city with a friend named Dan Dan. We met at campus and took the bus and along the way she told me different facts about our city which was neat to learn. When we arrived at the park I was blown away at how big it was. We had a good hike up the mountain and when we reached the top we could see the whole city. It was so beautiful and cool looking to get to look over our whole city. We had so many good conversations and I'm definitely excited about our new friendship.

That's all I have for now. Below are some pic's from the park. (sorry no pic's of the dog)

The Weather Outside is Frightful!!

It's been a while since my last post on here and I apologize for that. Not a whole lot has been going on here. This past week I started a new language curriculum with a  new tutor which I like very much. She is a sister and is so encouraging. The first 100 hrs of my training I am not allowed to speak, just listen. We go through about 25 to 30 vocabulary words a day using tangible objects like toys or drawing pictures. This is right up my alley of learning. She never tells me the answer and no english is spoken which is good for me because it forces me not to speak english. I think this is going to go very well and she will be able to work with me for the 2 years I'm hear. Father definitely answered that Pr-yer. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I had a small dinner with some friends from my team and my tutor. We had chicken, sweet potato casserole, home made crescent roles and some mixed vegetables. It was very good and on Saturday we will have a big get together with all the foreigners in our city and have a big meal which, I'm pumped about. I've been doing a lot of painting and decorating my apartment. A few weekends ago I had about 6 friends over at my apartment and we watched the movie Soul Surfer. After I was able to share about Father's strength and how we can do anything through Him. They seemed to really understand and it was going through their mind. I am really excited about these new friends and it's been good getting to know them. I will start studying with my tutor soon from the book so she can grow more. She is like minded but wants to study deeper in His word which I am very excited about. The temperature is dropping fast here. The high has been about 28 degrees and will be getting lower soon. In December we will hit the negatives which usually hits -20, uhhhhm cold much?  N-e-who well I gotta get going now. I'll try and post again soon, I am thankful for all the pr-yers being lifted up.

Blessings and Hope you all had a  happy Thanksgiving!!!

All the tree's of the field will clap their hands

Three weeks have gone by since I arrived here and all is going really good. The week went by kind of fast. Monday night I went to dinner with my tutor and we had some good conversations about Father. She likes hearing stories but is pretty set on confucianism which basically is all about doing good things and staying devoted to family and to the culture. Seeds have been planted and now I get to see how He will make it grow. Tuesday and Wednesday I was pretty much locked in my apartment sick which was not really fun. Today I had class at 8 this morning and finished at 10:35 a.m. then headed to meet some friends from English corner. They took me around town and showed me some cool stores and hen we went to eat lunch at a hot pot place, which was really good. This place was different than any hot pot I've had before. We sat down at this bar and in front of you was a small pot and a conveyor belt goes around the place with all kinds of food on it and you grab and put it in the boiling water. After lunch we headed to my apartment and hung out a bit. All in all it was a pretty good week besides the sick part of it. I am excited to finally start making some friends that I can hang out with and learn where some good places to eat are. The video of my apartment tour would not download properly. So not sure if I will be putting it on here. It said it had infinity hours to upload and I am too impatient to wait so I'll just post the pic's. Below are some pic's of my University campus which is very pretty in the fall. Well that is all I have for now, Later!

Let the language begin!!!

Monday I started my first class for language and I have to say my brain feels very overworked. My class meets Mon, Tues and Thurs from 1:30-4:05 PM and on Wed and Fri from 8:30-10:35 AM. I meet one on one with a tutor and the first few days were a bit overwhelming but that was to be expected. Slowly but surely I am catching on to certain phrases and have been using them on my outings. Wednesday as I got out of the cab to go meet my tutor I said goodbye to the driver but realized after he was laughing at me that I said I'm sorry instead. I got a good laugh out of it and headed on to class. The word for goodbye is zaijian and the word for I'm sorry is duibuqi (minus the tones). Thursday and Friday was way better and I am learning to be patient through all the toughness. When I pass people on the street who try and talk to me I get a little frustrated because I want to communicate back to them but I know He is faithful and the barrier will soon break and his name will be glorified. My apartment is finally coming along. My couch was delivered for the third time yesterday (Saturday) and looks really nice. My team has been completely amazing and have been so encouraging. We are like a little family, they invite me over just about everyday to have dinner which has been nice and I get sent home with the leftovers!!! All in all life here is getting to be pretty normal and My relationship with my tutor is growing. I've been able to share with her and she seems to be open to talking about Father. I am sorry I haven't been posting much on here. Hopefully I will be able to repot on here a lot through the week and give you snippets of my days. I have a video I will try and upload on here which is a video tour of my apartment. I should have pictures soon that I can post on here so you all can see what the city looks like. It's a small city with high buildings. Well that is all I have for you now!!! Zaijian!!!

Praise Him from whom all blessings flow

A week has gone by since I left training. One week and I will be heading across the world and my stomach is in knots. This past week has been filled with so many amazing surprises both from others and also from me. Two of my close friends came to my hometown to see me and I ended up following them back to Mississippi to speak at my school about my next two years journey. Along the way I was able to make a few stops and surprise a few friends which one slapped me 3 times, kind of hurt a little. 8^) My time in Mississippi was such a blessing and I feel so completely loved in a big way. Sunday night my ch-ch family threw me a surprise party which I was definitely shocked by. At the end we had a time or pr-yer and I can't tell you how good it was to be lifted up like that. My Father has blessed me greatly.

On Monday I went to my school and got to see everyone and share in a classroom about j-man. I spoke for an hour, which was shocking but it happened. That night I had the great opportunity to share with the Campus Link wor-hip about my calling to do this for the next two years and what I will be doing. Another surprise came when a lot of friends came to hear what the Father is doing, it was so so so good to see them. After I spoke I was asked if I could be pr-yed over and it was such an overwhelming feeling (in a good way.) Talk about an emotional night, His love was so heavy that night through everyone there. My heart is filled with so much thankfulness to Him, I am nothing and and my Father is using me for something so big, and all I want is to be obedient to Him. He will make things grow on this journey, not only in me but i those I will come in contact with.

Tuesday I went to Priority Lunch on campus and got to see everyone before I left. As I was eating my chicken sandwich My BSU director asked me to come on stage. My ch-ch leader was there as well and they had a gift they wanted to give me to help me with language learning. He pulled out an Ipad and all the accessories for it and I literally felt like I was going to faint. I was shocked!! They also raised money to purchase one of the top notch dictionaries for my device that will be extremely helpful. Father has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams with such a great family. I have been completely overwhelmed this week by so much and all I can think to do is to praise my Father. Being able to travel around this week has been such an incredible journey of blessings and being able to see close friends before I go.

My heart is feeling so much right now, so many emotions are flowing through me right now and will continue up until the 6th. I need Him right now to be close by and to not let me stray but to keep me going forward, to be so much more hungry for His word.

"O L-rd, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O L-rd. You hem me in-behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain." Ps. 139:1-6

Psalm 46

This is a song by Jenny and Tyler called Psalm 46. I was listening to it this morning and wanted to share the lyrics. You guys should look them up, you wont regret it. Love their music!

Psalm 46

Music and Lyrics: Copyright 2010 Tyler Somers (BMI), Jennifer Somers (BMI), One Eyed Cat Music (BMI)
the LORD is my refuge and strength
therefore i will not be afraid
though the mountains give way
and fall into the sea
He will come and rescue me

the LORD comes to me at break of day
He reaches down to guide me in His ways
though the oceans roar
in this dark and stormy sea
He will come and rescue me

halleluYah, He is with me
halleluYah, we cannot be moved
halleluYah, He is with me
halleluYah, i rest secure

be still and know that He is God
He will be exalted over all
come and behold His strength and majesty
yet He will come and rescue me

halleluYah, He is with me
halleluYah, we cannot be moved
halleluYah, He is with me
halleluYah, i rest secure

His Grace is sufficient enough

I am sorry that it has been a while since I last wrote. We have had a lot going on and have been real busy doing assignments. The Father has been teaching me a lot about His power and standing strong in my faith.  We have had some incredible sessions since the I last wrote on here. Some of my favorites have been on storying and learning creation to Christ (C2C) which I will be using a lot in my people group. We've been using the storying method in our small groups to help us get used to which has been amazing. Another favorite session was on persecution. Never have I been left so speechless in my life from hearing the stories. My perspective of how I view persecution has definitely changed. So many time I have pr@yed for persecution to stop, but praying for persecution to stop is like praying for people t stop coming to the Father. I never thought about it that way. Persecution is a normal thing, "persecution is like the sun coming up in the east, it's normal." Instead of pr@ying for it to stop I now pr@y that they will stay obedient to the Father through their persecution. "What binds us together is not our suffering but our obedience." Wow!! The Father really spoke through our speaker and it really spoke peace into my heart about this topic. I keep pr@ying that my faith would stay strong and that theirs would also. I suggest a book to you guys to read that really relates to this topic and that I read before I went on my first trip to E.A. I cried a lot when reading and we heard a lot of these kind of stories. It is called The Heavenly Man. This book will touch your heart in a way you don't think is possible.

On a totally different note, last week we went through security contingency week. Talk about rough, scary, draining and a whole lot of other emotions. I can't talk about what all we had to go through but I had to really rely on the Fathers strength through it. It was a lot of role playing and so very helpful. I am definitely thankful we were able to have this in our training. My friend shared with me Isaiah 41:9-10 which really helped me get through the last day and a half. "I took you from the ends of the earth, from it's farthest corners I called you. I said, 'you are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Definitely gave me so much peace about everything and I will keep this word close to my heart when I feel fear come across me or just when I need encouragement. I cannot express this love spilling from my heart that comes from my Father. It's such an overwhelming feeling that makes me ready to go.

We had the opportunity to hear from one of my favorite speakers here. I wont mention his name but he's the president of our company and he's the one who gives us the amazing quotes like I mentioned in my previous blog. He was talking about 5 tools to solve every relationship problem. The 5th one was labeled Thirsty and came from Psalm 42:1. the possible writer was probably Hezikiah which the speaker then said, "He can make a tadpole slap a whale." I could not stop laughing which eventually was embarrassing because I continued to laugh when no one else was. Anyone who knows me knows that It's hard for me to stop when I get going. We definitely were able to stay awake for this session. He went on to talk about how the existence for thirst comes from Psalm 42:1-2 and how it is the sign for life. The Father creates thirst and satisfies it at the same time. The only thing that satisfies my life in the Father and this will be a daily reminder for me. Then the power cut off for a second and our speaker said, "there was a great awakening b-4 there was ever a wire." This session added on to one of my favorites by far. Just when I feel like I could possibly not learn anything else I haven't already been told once in my life the Father teaches something new through our speakers. I stand amazed!!

To end this blog I am going to leave you with a song that we began our session with this past week. It is the song sanctuary. I know an oldie but we added on a second verse that I hadn't heard before and being able to sing it with over a 165 others who are about to disperse across the world left me with chills and tears in my eyes. I wish you all could have heard the beautiful sound.

Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary
pure and holy, tried and true.
With thanksgiving I'll be a living
sanctuary for you

To the nations we follow you Lord
be exalted be adored.
Come Lord Jesus  and lead your people
to the nations to all lands.

The one who calls you is FAITHFUL and He will do it. 1 Thes. 5:24

My Father is so faithful is all He does. Being here has really reminded me of this fact. I have been tested in many ways since arriving at training. I am in the Lord and He is in me so therefore I cannot be shaken. My heart is changing and it is a beautiful thing. I am growing spiritually and falling more in love with my Father. The sessions I have sat through, yes at times are overwhelming, but we are being taught by some amazing teachers who have been challenging us in so many ways. I want to seek hard after Him and make that my number one for the rest of my life. I want to go to the end of the earth because I am enamored with my Father. A lot of my fears about going have been hitting me hard these past two weeks and He has been showing me that His word can defeat those fears. The Fathers peace has given me a lot of comfort and it's a good feeling. It is always nice to have an amusing speaker like we had last week. He is definitely from the south and I wrote down a lot of quotes from him.

Referring to his wife~"When I first saw her my socks went up and down my legs like vanishing blinds
"I've been to two county fairs and a fifth Sunday sing and I aint never seen anything like this."
"You guys are looking at me like a calf looks at a new gate"

On a serious note:
"Fath is not something we feel or think. It is acting in obedience to the will of our Father."

The condition of the people I am about to encounter are dead in sin, are blinded by the God o this world, the domain of darkness which is the very reason I GO!! 8^)

Today was SHOT DAY!! I got three today and will get three next Friday and then two the next Friday. It was really fast and not that bad. I sat as two women on both sides of me poking both arms at the same time. It literally took five seconds and I was done. My arms are hating life right now but it's cool that we are able to get all these shots done for us because of your giving to LM!! Little piece of info I learned recently. So thank you all who give towards that. Your giving allows us all the opportunity to be here and to go to the ends of the earth. Ok I have to end here. I am posting some pics of my view here and also where I spend some good time with the Father during my QT.

I love you all and I can feel the effects of your praying. I am truly blessed. 8^)
